Welcome to what is perhaps the most intense Full Moon of the year. This Moon is impulsive, impatient, passionate, very fixated on relationships. We must find the balance between ourselves and the others, and, through aspects of Jupiter and Pluto, the greater events of the time...
This Full Moon deserves superlatives. It takes place on the axis of relationship, Aries/Libra; exactly at 20 degrees of Aries, to be precise. Two of the strongest and most important planets of our solar system are sitting at 20 degrees of their signs as well: Jupiter, the Benefactor, and Pluto, the Transformer.
Jupiter is still in his home sign of Sagittarius where he is particularly strong. From that position, he supports the Sun and Moon! We can be incredibly inspired, this weekend, and into the next two weeks. Doors can open, new contacts, new projects can develop, that will come to fruition in the future.
Higher educations, getting a diploma/Ph.D., further training on the job, journeys, particularly far journeys, writing, publishing, public work, spirituality and interaction with other cultures are particularly favored. Here you can advance, meet important people, or receive information that opens up new worlds for you.
Jupiter/Moon/Sun contacts also simply bring a lot of fun, wellbeing, goodwill; and especially from Sagittarius to Aries, celebrating, laughing, making nonsense, adventures, parties with many friends or unexpected guests, lavish gifts or invitations... Sagittarius to Libra brings a lot of understanding and generosity in relationships, and an extremely pronounced sense of justice (beware of self-righteousness!).
The aspect to Pluto, on the other hand, is not easy. Pluto is very strong in Capricorn, and just turned direct. Events in the world, and in our environment, change us, and after a first shock trigger a reassessment of our personal responsibility and our behavior in the social, political and economic realms. Frightening or saddening insights about power dynamics and hidden interests can come to the surface and subject what we think about others or "the world" to a blatant change.
Some current Pluto topics would be: the shift of geostrategic power relations; the end of resources or the consequences of their further exploitation; and the abysses of the current political and economic order - brutality of animal production, poisons in the food chain, modern slavery, violence against children and women, excesses of patriarchal structures, new authoritarian ideologies and regimes, the blatant abuse of power by large corporations, rigged rules of the game in economy and society, covert influences, etc.
Pluto in Capricorn, especially close to Saturn, is no fun, nothing that can be repressed or silenced. In the coming months and years we won`t be able to avoid dealing with "bigger" topics. Our private lives, our relationships, cannot unfold when the world, like the last time in the 1930s, is heading for war or other forms of destruction, conflict, scarcity and negativity.
We will experience everything on this Full Moon: The most beautiful and the worst, at least collectively. Outbreaks, breakdowns, breakthroughs. The next New Moon at the end of October is in Scorpio, in exact opposition to Uranus, the revolutionary planet. The next six weeks are a time of extremes, and extreme change of values. Unfortunately, there will also be many civilians worldwide, especially women and children, who will be subjected to violent shocks.
What can you do individually? Heal your old wounds and insecurities so that you can come into your adult power. Maintain relationships, balance out, bring positive energy into your immediate environment. And if you have strength left, then think about how you can do something, cushion a part of the cruelty and hardness of this world - formed by modern man, or power interests of certain groups - or tackle it.
Jupiter in the positive aspect to the Moon signals that it`s possible to take action against injustice through the law, to work against abuse of power and meanness by means of positive action, and to oppose lies about human nature with the truth about humanity. Optimism, enthusiasm, visions are in place, visions of a fairer future, in which we do not buy prosperity by exploiting and injuring others.
We will make mistakes, change will not go without injuries - but this Moon shows that the private is political. Three months prior to the next decade it is time for us to meet again - as human beings.
Happy Full Moon!
